Materials you need to start with

Like everything, decorative wall painting also needs your practice. So review some of the materials you need, select your wall and… paint!

What you will need to do this formation is:

  • Brushes and medium size brushes.
  • A small roller ready and a tray.
  • Acrylic paint of the 3 Primary colors and 250 cl cans of black and white.
  • Spray cans with nozzles of various sizes.
  • Masking tape.

I'm David Murcia, CEO, co-founder and artist at Taruga Creaciones. I'm here to teach you how to paint a decorative mural.

I started going to an art academy at the age of five. Since my studies in Fine Arts, I exhibited in venues and cultural centers. Then I participated in dry painting competitions and worked in galleries, both national and international.

Between individual and group exhibitions, the need arose to bring art closer to people's homes. This is how we founded Taruga Creaciones in 2018.

As of today, I dedicate myself entirely to Taruga, a mural painting service platform that has a network of more than 300 artists in the Spanish context. We have painted more than 1,800 murals on more than 22,000 meters of walls.
